    I've always enjoyed dining here and my friends from out of state and I annually make an effort to gather our very large group during the U.S Open to eat here. I'm not usually a fan of Chinese food, I find it to be a tad heavy but Full Moon does it right! I used to dine here occasionally before it had changed ownership years ago and enjoyed it then too. Sometimes when there is a change in ownership and/or management of a restaurant establishment quality in food, attitude and atmosphere change along with it. However, over the years since- I got to befriend the current owner, Jack. He's kind and so are the rest of his staff. Always very welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend this place. Everything I've tried on the menu is delicious but I will say the Szechuan mapo tofu might be my favorite!

    This place is consistently delicious. We Door Dash from here often, and love having leftovers. However, there's nothing like a fresh bite of their tender chicken or beef. Order anything, you can't go wrong.

    My husband and I love stopping by Full Moon for dinner whenever we take a day trip to Monterey! Our favorites are the mapo tofu and Buddha's delight. The flavors for both are amazing. We are both Taiwanese American and have had our fair share of disappointing Chinese food, which made me a little skeptical of here at first, but Full Moon is so delicious. The service is great too. We've only ordered to-go from here (we usually have our dog with us) but would really love to dine in sometime as well! The takeout is always packaged well and I really appreciate how much care they put into making sure that nothing spills, especially because our typical order involves liquid. Would recommend trying Full Moon!
